small, but strong
great set. and a good value for babyliss. the handle on the dryer doesn't fold in it folds back, but it gets flat which is nice for travel. the iron and dryer are smaller in size than i initially expected but they are truly exemplary and deliver a great result. well worth it

Ideal if you are traveling light
I'm going to central america and bought this purely for light weight travel because its small and at only 800 watts, hopefully won't blow the power out in the places where I'll be staying (get any greater voltage, and its bound to blow the power in a 3rd world country if you are not staying in top notch resorts). The dryer is pretty powerful and at about 5 inches long, fits in the palm of your hand. Note: I have a short hair though, so it doesn't take that much to blow my hair out. Also note that the curling iron looks too tiny for real use. Tiny brush is a great compact size.

Was exactly what I needed
This hair dryer is tiny and does the job. I only wish it had a cool shot available. This product was what I needed for my travel kit and Amazon was the only place that had something this tiny available.

I love this set!!
Teeny Tiny curling iron for touch ups fits in your purse comfortably...great for on the fly. The blow dryer does it's job and fits in your palm! If you need compact, this micro set fits the bill. I bought this set for my art studio to dry water colors and acrylics, but it is hand for those impromptu getaway's as well! Very small, I love them! PS Bed Bath and Beyond sells the micro sets too including the flat iron. : )

Perfect mini size and works fine.
I have been searching and searching for a small hair dryer that's a decent price and doesn't look like it's 20 years old. The babyliss is great because it's super small, works well, and comes with other items.
The hair dryer has two settings, low and high. I usually use it on low and it's fine (I have lightly wavy hair). The design is great and the concentrator nozzle comes off (something the don't mention in the product description). I was searching for the dimensions/ size of the hair dryer (since I was looking for something specifically for traveling) and realized they didn't list it. So here it is (roughly): 4.75"H x 4.75"W in it's fold out position. It's super tiny!
The curling iron heats up at an average speed. The box says the curling iron has a indicator light but really it's just a painted on red dot. It doesn't function as a light and there's no low, medium, high heat setting on it. I don't mind but I figured that might be something people would like to know before they buy it.
The brush is super tiny and perfect for your purse.
All in all, I am very happy with this product. The only thing I have a little miff about is he communication with the Babyliss company. I tried to email them a couple of questions about the size of the hair dryer and if it has a diffuser that's compatible with it and got a really late reply back, asking for the model number and specifics of the product before they were able to answer me. I didn't need the diffuser after all and didn't want to wait for a reply so I just bought the item.
